Barely three weeks away from it's release on HBO Max (March 18th), a special clip has been released for Zack Snyder's Justice League that originally debuted at IGN Fan Fest. While not a clip offering new footage for the film, it seeks to serve as a sequence that recaps all the heroes that will unite in hopefully a superior effort to the 2017 theatrical version. Check out the clip below:
Commenting on the clip's design, Snyder had this to say:
“I doodled all those. There’s a million Easter eggs in it, and if you go look there’s storylines that I had been working on that if the film had been continued or if you look at the past histories, there’s a bunch of little details in there for everybody. It’s really worth taking a long slow look at because it’s really fun, and I think for fans it’s really a treat.”
Bound by the quarantine of the COVID-19 pandemic, Snyder confirmed the black-and-white version of the film is coming to HBO Max later this year along, when quarantine ends, a hopeful theatrical release of the film in full IMAX with an intermission scored by Junkie XL. Hey, the film got this far. Anything seems possible now. Stay tuned!
Meanwhile, MCU enters phase 785.
Just release it already...feels like this has been promoted for 5 years by now.
