Zack Snyder's DCEU films (Often known as the "Snyderverse") are a mixed bag. Some found them to be overly dark to the point of melancholic. Others found them to be an intriguing and more dramatic take on the often glittering array of DC heroes. But if there was anyone who managed to get good praise across the board, it was Ben Affleck's take on Batman. A praise that has allowed him to continue on now as he will appear in the upcoming Flash solo film. But, first, audiences will get to see him in Zack Snyder's Justice League, which is a mere two weeks away from being released on HBO Max on March 18th. Something Snyder wanted to acknowledge today with new posters and a brief trailer focused primarily on Affleck's character:
All three were released today by Snyder on his Twitter with the brief teaser focusing on Batman's quest to unite the League against Darkseid's army, narrated by a combination of the Dark Knight, Jared Leto's Joker, and Harry Lennix's persistent background character General Swanwick. The latter, Lennix revealed earlier this year, was meant to be revealed as J'onn J'onnz (Aka Martian Manhunter), had Snyder's original vision continued on. Though Lennix's narration makes one think Lennix will get at least a brief chance to suit up in the film. Check out the trailer below:
Stay tuned!
Oh wow...that sucks. Hopefully the situation will improve as the year moves along?
