While Guy Ritchie's newest film Wrath of Man feels fairly conventional in it's presentation, but the newest red band trailer shows that there is something brewing beneath the exterior of the lead character, H (Played by Ritchie's regular collaborator, Jason Statham). Co-writing the script with Ivan Atkinson and Marn Davies, the film is actually based on the 2004 French film Cash Truck which, if you're familiar with, featured a couple twists itself. Like that film, as the character unleashes precision skills in the remake against robbers trying to steal from the cash truck he's assigned to guard, soon even his coworkers wonder...who is he? What are his motives? One thing is clear, H is out for payback and it's going to be a bloody trail following behind him. Check out the new red band trailer below:
In addition, the first official clip for the film, appropriately titled "Meet H" sees Statham's character "introduce" himself to his coworkers off-the-clock. Check it out below:
Wrath of Man co-stars Holt McCallany, Jeffrey Donovan, Josh Hartnett, Laz Alonso, Raúl Castillo, DeObia Oparei, Eddie Marsan, and Scott Eastwood. It is set to land in US theaters on May 7th followed by a release in the UK on July 23rd.
