Keeping to his affection for music and Old Hollywood, writer/director Damien Chazelle's newest film Babylon has mostly been kept in the dark beyond it taking place during the time in Hollywood when studios were transitioning from silent films to “talkies", as well as it being R-rated. In addition, the film has already assembled an impressive ensemble including Margot Robbie, Brad Pitt, Diego Calva, Jovan Adepo, and Li Jun Li. Now, the cast grows a little bit more with the announcement Katherine Waterston (Inherent Vice, Alien: Covenant, Fantastic Beasts) has signed on. However, her part wasn't announced.
Babylon is set to have an award-qualifying limited release on December 25th, 2022 before opening wide on January 6, 2023. Stay tuned!
El Camino - 7/10 It was decent. The fat Todd was silly. Couldn't the actor lose some weight for the role that will make him look like the 2013 version? But story was complling and some good action. No woke shit.
