Following her role as a writer and producer on the first two films in the series, it's been announced today that Kelly Marcel shall make her directorial debut on the third Venom film. She follows the likes of Ruben Fleischer and Andy Serkis who directed Venom (2018) and Venom: Let There Be Carnage (2021), respectively. Besides the Venom films, Marcel is known for writing the script for Fifty Shades of Grey (2015) along with coming up with receiving story credit for Cruella (2021) alongside Aline Brosh McKenna and Steve Zissis.
Appropriately enough, Marcel got her start serving as a script editor for the 2008 film Bronson which was the breakout performance for Venom lead actor Tom Hardy who plays Eddie Brock/Venom. Given that and the fact they conjured the story for the second film together, it's a safe bet they work well together. No much will change this time around with Hardy getting story credit alongside Marcel and Marcel penning the script along with her directing duties. Marcel is also known
Really the only question we have is...will Venom actually fight Spider-Man this time?!
Stay tuned!

Black Adam - 6.5/10
ended up being much better than i expected. was ripping off a lot of older movies such as - xmen, 300, watchmen, the mummy, some mcu bits (ant man, captain america) but overall it was short on woke which is better than the latest heavy woke mcu movies. dwayne johnson was actually looking for the first time in super hero movies like one of the comic book super heroes which are huge with big muscles and not like an actor which just did 2 weeks gym workout to fit the role. the ending was quite meh and illuminiaty influenced.
the first one was a pleasant surprise. the 2nd was terrible.
