It's a wonder what movie people will get for the long-awaited film The Woman in the Window finally being released next month by Netflix after the streaming service bought the distribution rights last year. With the well-documented production issues and rewrites (And re-editing after bad test screenings in October 2019), it's going to be a wonder if the film has any worthwhile quality to offer. There are rare examples of films delayed for years that end up with good reception. Though part of that delay was due to COVID-19 (It was originally set for May 15th of last year), hence why it was then sold to Netflix in the first place.
In any case, the film will finally land on Netflix on May 14th and, ahead of that, a new trailer has been released. Check it out below:
The Woman in the Window stars Amy Adams, Gary Oldman, Anthony Mackie, Fred Hechinger, Wyatt Russell, Brian Tyree Henry, Jennifer Jason Leigh, and Julianne Moore. It is directed by Joe Wright.
Frumpy bitch.
