The brief teasers for The New Mutants keep on coming. The title image for this article gives a brief tease to the popular comic book character Lockhead, an alien dragon who serves as a pet for the character of Magik (Played by Anya-Taylor Joy). With less than a week away from the film's theatrical debut (August 28th), it's a hope the years-long wait to finally see this film will be worth it, especially for fans of the now defunct X-Men film franchise whose continuity lasted over at 20th Century Fox for 20 years. If anything, this film serves as the sole remaining testament to that franchise's legacy.
The New Mutants co-stars Maisie Williams, Charlie Heaton, Alice Braga, Blu Hunt, and Henry Zaga. It is directed by Josh Boone.
