Pardon the pun, but the new official synopsis released for The Matrix Resurrections essentially suggests a reboot of the franchise, taking Keanu Reeves' Thomas Anderson/Neo back to the beginning where he must decide where he goes from here. It's very different from the first synopsis that implied a retcon of the two sequels and the idea of reality being completely altered from what audiences saw in the original trilogy. Read the new synopsis below:
In a world of two realities—everyday life and what lies behind it—Thomas Anderson will have to choose to follow the white rabbit once more. Choice, while an illusion, is still the only way in or out of the Matrix, which is stronger, more secure and more dangerous than ever before.
In addition, Entertainment has released several images, two of which highlight the fight between Neo (Played by Keanu Reeves) and the unexplained youthful Morpheus (Played now by Yahya Abdul-Mateen II). A third image shows new addition Jessica Henwick as her undisclosed character Bug. Check the images out below:
The Matrix Resurrections stars Keanu Reeves, Carrie-Anne Moss, Jada Pinkett Smith, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Jessica Henwick, Jonathan Groff, Neil Patrick Harris, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, and Christina Ricci. It is directed by Lana Wachowski (who co-wrote the script with David Mitchell and Aleksandar Hemon). It is set to be released simultaneously in theaters and on HBO Max on December 22nd.
I love the blue haired tranny. That's how I know to stay away from this garbage.
The Matrix rehashed for the woke era.
