One of the more anticipated films that was gearing up for release before the pandemic occurred was writer/director David Lowery's The Green Knight, based on the poem Sir Gawain and the Green Knight. Like the poem, the story will follow the Sir Gawain (Played by Dev Patel), King Arthur's headstrong nephew, who will journey through a dark fantasy world to defeat the eponymous Green Knight.
Now the film has officially been confirmed by the MPAA to be rated R for “violence, some sexuality, and graphic nudity”. While A24 has yet to reveal when they intend to release the film, given the MPAA has recently reviewed a copy of the film to give this rating, it's a strong bet that they may be gearing up to announce it soon. And so the quest towards the impossible release date of this epic tale begins. Stay tuned!
Midnight Cowboy - 7/10 Not a pleasant movie to watch, didn't age well as well in terms of camera work and direction but the acting was top notch, mainly Hoffman which was outstanding and deserved an Oscar.
