"The Godfather, Coda: The Death of Michael Corleone" Debuts Official Trailer

For many, the idea of a re-vamped director's cut of The Godfather Part III is a godsend. Retitled The Godfather, Coda: The Death of Michael Corleone, the film is being defended by director Francis Ford Coppola as a new version that will give the originally mixed received finale (to the otherwise critically acclaimed series) new life. Re-edited as the standalone epilogue it was originally envisioned as by Coppola (Along with a completely new opening and alternate ending), the new trailer works to focus it completely on the haunted legacy of Michael Corleone without the original film's constant callbacks to the first two films. Check it out below:

The Godfather Coda: The Death of Michael Corleone will have a brief theatrical release on December 4th before arriving on VOD and Blu-Ray on December 8th (Check out the cover art for it's home media here). Stay tuned!
