Despite Jessica Chastain proposing The 355 to her Dark Phoenix director Simon Kinberg while in production on that film back in 2018, the film didn't get to finish filming until it completed some additional photography in London this past July in 2020. A female-led spy film made in the same vein as the Mission: Impossible and James Bond series, the basic premise for 355 is similar to it's predecessors. A CIA agent (Played by Chastain) teams up with other international agents to recover a top-secret weapon. And as the official trailer reveals today, it will be a chaotic (And hopefully entertaining) battle of wits between the film's dynamic, female leads:
The 355 co-stars Lupita Nyong'o, Penélope Cruz, Diane Kruger, Fan Bingbing, Sebastian Stan, and Édgar Ramírez. It is set to hit theaters January 15, 2021. In addition, check out the official main poster and the official character posters below:
