Edgar Wright's newest film Last Night in Soho has gotten attention already for being the first horror film of a director known strictly for his comedies and satires. And it's not just the genre, but the story itself that appears so focuses on a young wannabe fashion designer girl who mysteriously enters the 1960's to encounter her idol, only to find herself in the midst of darker forces. In addition, the film has a haunting element to the casting as the film will feature the final performances of Diana Rigg and Margaret Nolan who both passed in the last year.
Released today, the official teaser trailer looks to present a psychological aspect, but Wright's visual talent plays through to deliver what could be his most unique film yet. Check it out below:
Last Night in Soho co-stars Anya Taylor-Joy, Thomasin Harcourt McKenzie, Matt Smith, Rita Tushingham, and Terence Stamp. It is set to hit theaters October 22nd.
