"Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin" Announces Release Date

For those who have been excited about the upcoming Dark Souls-inspired entry of Final Fantasy, Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin has officially announced it's release date to be March 18, 2022. This was confirmed with a new trailer which you can check out below:

The new game is set in a dark fantasy interpretation of the setting for the original 1987 Final Fantasy game, with a group of people drawn into it from another world. Origin is a new storyline using the original as inspiration, focusing on the themes of examining the role and goals of Warriors of Light (the heroes of the original game). One aspect that emphasizes the darker tone is, in contrast to the pale crystals used across most of the series, the red crystals and blood-colored elements of artwork. The game's writer Kazushige Nojima highlighted the new tone in one line: "It's not a hope or a dream. It's like a hunger. A thirst". The subtitle also carries a dual meaning of the party literally being strangers in the game world, and the party being unwelcome in the game's "paradise". Hopefully the game will add a new layer of depth to the long-running video game franchise.

Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin will be available for Windows, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.

I just read what happens in the end without watching it. That's why I posted this gif. I'll wait for a good quality release. No need to suffer a shitty cam if the movie already sucks to begin with. Double shit.
