"Stardust" Debuts Official Trailer & Poster

2020 hasn't been easy on people, but the last decade has seen a lot of losses including some beloved icons. David Bowie was a particularly hard one, dying of liver cancer a mere two days after his 69th birthday and the release of his newest album "Blackstar". One of the most beloved performers of all time, he was unique for his creation of his alter-ego "Ziggy Stardust".

Now, the origins of both Bowie and his alter-ego will be explored in the new film Stardust, narratively by trailing Bowie's first tour in the US in 1971, when he was promoting his then-new album "The Man Who Sold the World". It was during this time he first conceived of the persona. Actor Johnny Flynn has the challenging task of bringing Bowie back to life. And judging by the official trailer released today, he will do just fine:

Stardust co-stars Jena Malone, Marc Maron, Aaron Poole, Roanna Cocharne, Jorja Cadence, Annie Briggs, and Ryan Blakley. It is directed by Gabriel Range (Who co-wrote the script with Christopher Bell). It is set to have a US release on November 25th. In addition, check out the official poster for the film below:

Trailer is getting a lot of hate from lots of people...main complaints are the actor doesn't look anything like him and that Bowie's family didn't agree to allow his songs to be used in this movie.
