Since Trump took office 4 years ago, Hollywood has done everything they can to combat his belligerent nature. Some will disagree with this, some won't. That's entirely up to you the viewer, but if you're for it than you will be pleased to see the trailer released today for the two-night limited series The Comey Rule.
The series will see Brendan Gleeson as U.S. President Donald Trump and Jeff Daniels as former FBI Director James Comey, following the deterioration of the relationship between the two men after Comey was fired by Trump. It is being described as a “behind-the-headlines account of the historically turbulent events surrounding the 2016 presidential election and its aftermath, which divided a nation”, meant to explore the contrast between the two men and their ethics.

Oscar-nominated screenwriter Billy Ray (Captain Phillips, Shattered Glass) wrote and directed the series which Ray executive produced alongside Shane Salerno, Alex Kurtzman, and Heather Kadin. The Comey Rule will air on Showtime on September 27th & 28th.
