It's a strong bet that Taylor Sheridan and John Linson’s Yellowstone series will be around for some time. The show, which wrapped up it's third season last night (And airs on Paramount Network) has set another ratings record with it season finale.
The finale drew in 5.2 million total viewers in Live+Same Day. This is one million more viewers than any other episode in the series history and, according to Nielsen, has officially made it the No. 1 most-watched cable telecast of the year according to Nielsen. The finale also saw an increase of 71-84% (depending on the demographic) from the second season finale with CMT simulcast and encores. That was a draw of 7.5 million viewers on premiere night. As a whole, the third season in it's entirety ranks as the most watched across all cable year-to-date in Live+Same Day.
Without a doubt, season four is highly anticipated and, at this point, who knows if this is the farthest the show will fly. Stay tuned!
