Quick Bits: "Hawkeye", "Star Trek: Prodigy"

Hawkeye Gives Episode Count

Following the official November premiere date given for the Marvel series Hawkeye on Disney+, it's now been confirmed that the series, which will focus on Jeremy Renner's Clint Barton training Hailee Steinfeld as a new Hawkeye, will run for six episodes. This matches the episode count for both previous Marvel/Disney+ productions The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and Loki.

Star Trek: Prodigy Reveals Title Sequence

Last month, the upcoming animated Star Trek series, subtitled Prodigy, released it's first trailer. Unlike Paramount's other animated Star Trek series (Lower Decks), Prodigy will be aimed at younger audiences. It's the first Star Trek property not to focus on a Starfleet crew, but instead will focus on a group of kids who steal a starship, the U.S.S. Protostar, to get away from their home in the sticks. Along the way, they will be guided by a hologram of Star Trek: Voyager's Captain Janeway (with Kate Mulgrew returning to voice the character). Ahead of it's release later this year, the title sequence for the new show has been released and notably features a theme composed by Michael Giacchino (who composed the scores for the last three Star Trek films). Check it out below:

The first season is set to contain 10-episode season. It will air on Paramount+ and then on Nickelodeon before the second season is released on Paramount+.

Stay tuned!
