Wes Anderson's The French Dispatch is set to be a love letter to Journalists and, as such, each character in the massive ensemble is inspired by real people who used the power of the written word to bring news to the world. Today, a new teaser has been released that focuses on one such character, that of Owen Wilson as Herbsaint Sazerac. In the film, Sazerac is a travel writer and staff-member of the French Dispatch, but he also is based on Joseph Mitchell who was a writer for The New Yorker. Check out the new teaser below:
The French Dispatch co-stars Benicio del Toro, Adrien Brody, Tilda Swinton, Léa Seydoux, Frances McDormand, Timothée Chalamet, Lyna Khoudri, Jeffrey Wright, Mathieu Amalric, Stephen Park, Bill Murray, Liev Schreiber, Edward Norton, Willem Dafoe, Saoirse Ronan, Elisabeth Moss, Jason Schwartzman, and Anjelica Huston. It is set to be released in theaters on October 22nd.
