Official Trailer: "Uncharted"

A film adaptation of the popular video game series Uncharted has been in the works for years. Originally, Mark Wahlberg was set to play Nathan Drake with his Fighter director David O. Russell at the helm. Somehow, after all the directors that followed, we've ended up with a prequel that stars Tom Holland as a younger version of Drake while Mark Wahlberg co-stars as Nathan’s mentor Victor ‘Sully’ Sullivan (and no mustache). But, judging by the trailer released today...the result is essentially Holland playing Peter Parker (this time, with bartending skills!) and all the characters being adapted only in name.

Holland: "Alright, so I'm standing like Spidey...but maybe I can make a sarcastic comment? That might differentiate it enough!"

Check it out below:

Uncharted co-stars Sophia Taylor Ali, Tati Gabrielle, and Antonio Banderas. It is directed by Ruben Fleischer and is set to land in theaters on February 18th, 2022.

Replying to

They games were better movies than this will be. That was why I never understood a need to make an adaptation of this series. The games were made to be like interactive movies.
