It's a wonder what Netflix's upcoming show Selena: The Series can add to the legend of the popular singer that the Jennifer Lopez film didn't already do in the 1990's. Still, the series is expansive, set to be broken into two sets of episodes, the first part of nine episodes being released December 4th. And, the series' production company Campanario Entertainment and series screenwriter Moisés Zamora, did work alongside Selena's father (Abraham Quintanilla) and sister (Suzette Quintanilla).
So, it is possible fans will get comprehensive and much more personal version of her life that was cut short when she was shot by her friend and former manager of her Selena Etc. boutiques, Yolanda Saldívar, on her 24th birthday. The trailer released today does indicate, whatever the outcome, actress Christian Serratos will attempt to embody her with gusto equal to the singer's now legendary voice. Check it out below:
