It was recently announced that Ryan Murphy would continue to expand his American anthology franchise over at FX. What that means is not only will his American Horror Stories series get another season, but will also be doing other genre-based stories such as American Sports Stories (as an example). But ahead of that, American Crime Story will be releasing it's third season, this time focusing on the infamous Clinton–Lewinsky scandal from 1998.
A new trailer has been released ahead of it's premiere on FX on September 7th, showing Clive Owen unrecognizable as Bill Clinton and Beanie Feldstein as Monica Lewinsky. In addition, Murphy's regular collaborator Sarah Paulson as Linda Tripp who secretly recording Lewinsky's confidential phone calls about her relationship with President Bill Clinton, disclosing intimate details and causing a sensation as it linked to the earlier Clinton vs. Jones lawsuit that occurred in 1997. Check out the new trailer below:
Impeachment: American Crime Story co-stars Margo Martindale, Billy Eichner, Cobie Smulders, Edie Falco, Taran Killam, Colin Hanks, Mira Sorvino, Elizabeth Reaser, Anthony Green, Annaleigh Ashford, and Judith Light. Stay tuned!
