Based on the hit 2013 video game of the same name, the upcoming DC film Injustice isn't holding back in it's official first trailer released today.
Focusing on an alternate universe where Joker has tricked Superman into killing his pregnant wife, Lois Lane, the story watches as the heroes that audiences love downspiral and split. Particularly as Superman begins to establish himself as a dictator and the Justice League must find a way to stop their former friend.. As the official trailer shows, the idea is just as terrifying (and heartbreaking) as it sounds for fans of the DC hero. Check it out below:
Injustice will feature an ensemble cast, including the voices of Justin Hartley, Anson Mount, and
Janet Varney. It is directed by Matt Peters and is set to be released on home media on October 19th.
Five years too late.
