Let's be honest, as much as the idea of seeing a live-action adaptation of Flashpoint Paradox is enticing, most us comic book movie fans will be checking out The Flash later this year for the return of Michael Keaton's Batman. A version of the character that has left a lasting impression on fans for over three decades. And Warner Bros. knows this as the first official poster they have released has Batman's presence literally hovering over the titular character:
Supposedly, reports claim that the test screenings for this film are some of the best they've had for any of their DC films, but we won't know for sure until it hits theaters June 19th. What we do know is it has IT director Andy Muschietti at the helm and he's working from a screenplay by Christina Hodson (Bumblebee, Birds of Prey). Both creative forces have had mixed success with some highs and lows. So this can be a coin flip. For now, we wait for the Super Bowl TV Spot set to be released that will perhaps give some more footage of what to expect.
The Flash co-stars Ezra Miller, Ron Livingston, Kiersey Clemons, Michael Shannon, Antje Traue, Sasha Calle, and Ben Affleck.
No way this tops the animated movie.
So Affleck is Batman? What about the twilight dude? Anyhow, I've always liked the flash so I'm in.
