Keeping with the show's two season cycle where actors are then recast to match the show's desire to "age up" the real-life characters for the appropriate time periods, the fourth season of The Crown will feature Olivia Colman's final turn as the lead character Queen Elizabeth II. The role will then be filled by Imelda Staunton who will play the character for the show's fifth and sixth season, the latter of those set to be the final season for the show. Back on season four, this season will also feature Gillian Anderson as then newly elected Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher and Emma Corrin as Princess Diana. All of these characters, along with Josh O'Connor as Prince Charles, can be seen in the first look photos released today. Check them out below:
Confirmed as well today, the show's fourth season (Which wrapped filming back in March) will premiere on November 15th on Netflix. Stay tuned!
