Last month it was confirmed that season 4 of Netflix's highly popular animated series Castlevania will end with it's fourth season, which is set to premiere on the streaming service on May 13th. Part of the reason is the allegations against series creator Warren Ellis and the other being it felt like the show had come to it's natural end. However, the streaming service has confirmed they are working on spin-off ideas to continue the franchise with. But first...the heroes of the main series must face a looming evil.
Season 4 will see monster-hunting duo Belmont and Sypha investigate plans to resurrect the notorious vampire Dracula (Who died at the end of season 2) while Dracula's dhampir son Alucard struggles to embrace his humanity after being betrayed by two humans at the end of season 3. Today, the official trailer has been released. It looks to keep up the quality and intensity of the first three and take it up one final notch with the storytelling. Check the trailer out below:
Stay tuned!
I think I watches season 1 but I can't remember anything about it.
It's been a very decent show and I particularly enjoyed Richard Armitage's presence in the cast.
