While Netflix may not always offer quality in their shows, they do offer variety. And Brand New Cherry Flavor is an example of how they will offer something for every genre. In this case, a horror series set in 1990's Los Angeles and following an aspiring film director named Lisa Nova (Played by Rosa Salazar) who finds herself embarking on a mind-altering journey of supernatural revenge that gets nightmarishly out of control. This limited series was teased today and shows a wild journey that almost harkens back to more classic films and shows. Not necessarily dense in narrative but wild in the journey. The show is the creation of Nick Antosca and Lenore Zion. It is set to premiere on Netflix on August 13th.
