One difference being given for director Zack Snyder's new zombie film Army of the Dead is that the zombies are actually intelligent along with being fast as they were in Snyder's 2004 remake of Dawn of the Dead. This is put on display with the new set of character posters that include the alpha zombie Zeus who, according to producer Deborah Snyder in a previous interview, is the cause of the outbreak after escaping from Area 51.
