Kamala Khan/Ms. Marvel has been a character that Marvel Studios has been pushing forward for awhile. Serving as one of the primary points-of-view for the Square Enix game The Avengers, she is meant to serve as part of a leading trio for the upcoming Captain Marvel sequel titled The Marvels. But first, she will get her own TV series on Disney+ that shows how she becomes part of the MCU. Namely starting on the outside, looking in as a fangirl of the Avengers (particularly Carol Danvers / Captain Marvel) while struggles to fit in until she suddenly gains her own set of powers.
The series' directing team is led by the duo Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah who notably worked a miracle with Bad Boys for Life becoming the most successful (and well-received) of the franchise. They will be directing off of scripts run by head writer Bisha K. Ali. Ahead of it's premiere on Disney+ on June 8th, a new TV spot has been released that shows Kamala Khan's maternal aunt who masquerades as the hero Red Dagger on her off-time. Clearly a motivation to help the titular character know she is not alone. Check it out below:
Stay tuned!
They've been trying to push this stupid character in the comics for years now and nobody has bought any of her books. They simply don't sell. They ruined a video game with this woke garbage as well. At some point you have to cut your losses and admit to yourself that you tried to push this woke garbage but no one was buying. Oh well. Or you could keep doubling down until you bankrupt the company. Good luck with that.
