Director/writer Richard Linklater actually wrote the first draft for his 2016 film Everybody Wants Some!! in mid-2005 and despite trying to finance it in 2009, he couldn't get it into production until Annapurna Pictures became involved and he began filming in late-2014. The film would go on to be critically acclaimed, just showing art doesn't happen over night. Stay tuned!
