Enjoy the irony that the 1959 film The Nun's Story, which sees Audrey Hepburn star as a Catholic nun who enters a convent, consisted of a cast and crew that included few if any actual Catholics. Director Fred Zinnemann was Jewish while actresses Audrey Hepburn and Edith Evans were Christian Scientists. In addition, the film's writer, Robert Anderson, was a Protestant while co-star Peggy Ashcroft was agnostic. To ensure accuracy and fidelity to the Catholic denomination, a number of consultants were used. What can be said? Fake it until you faithfully make it! Stay tuned!
