As it turns out, some film's get their kinetic energy...from scheduling conflicts. In the 2016 film Hell or High Water, Chris Pine plays one half of the lead brother duo that is robbing banks throughout Texas to save their family's farm. However, due to his tight schedule (as he was set to start filming Star Trek Beyond around the same time), Pine was only available for two and a half weeks, so all his scenes had to be shot very rapidly and in sequence to maintain the required level of energy. Which, for a film about robbers trying to outrun the authorities, kind helps with the stakes, wouldn't you say? Stay tuned!
