It's been confirmed today that Michelle Monaghan will serve as co-lead opposite her Mark Wahlberg in the upcoming action comedy The Family Plan. The two previously worked together on the 2016 film Patriots' Day. Co-produced by Apple Original Films and Skydance, the film also sees Wahlberg collaborating with director Simon Cellan Jones, who recently directed Wahlberg in the upcoming film Arthur The King. David Coggeshall (Orphan: First Kill) pens the script.
Wahlberg will star as a suburban dad who takes his family on the run when his past catches up with him. It's believed Monaghan will play his wife, but her exact role hasn't officially been confirmed. The movie is expected to release in late-2023. Stay tuned!
