In a wild, more adult twist on the Parent Trap trope, actress Michelle Monaghan is set to play twins in the announced Netflix series Echoes.
Created by Vanessa Gazy, who will executive produce alongside showrunners Brian Yorkey and Quinton Peeples, Monaghan will star as Leni and Gina who have secretly swapped lives back and forth since childhood. Cute when you're younger, but not so much when they find themselves leading double lives as adults...sharing their homes and their husbands. All of which is complicated when one of the sisters goes missing.
Nothing else has been revealed at this time except the show will consist of seven episodes. Stay tuned!
