"Matrix Resurrections" Gets R-Rating

Collider has officially confirmed that the Motion Picture Association (MPAA) has officially given The Matrix Resurrections an R-rating for "violence and some language." This matches the rating and reasons for that rating that the previous three Matrix films got (though the Reloaded also got it for a brief sex scene). In any case, at least skeptics of the return of the cyberpunk franchise know it's keeping itself to the same standards of action and cursing that fit the previous films.

The Matrix Resurrections stars Keanu Reeves, Carrie-Anne Moss, and Jada Pinkett Smith, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Jessica Henwick, Jonathan Groff, Neil Patrick Harris, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, and Christina Ricci. It is directed by Lana Wachowski (who co-wrote the script with David Mitchell and Aleksandar Hemon). It is set to have a simultaneously release in theaters and on HBO Max on December 22nd.

It represents being trapped in a man's body for the last 20 years. Once he cuts his dick off he will be truly free to be his tranny self.
