In the original announcement for Phase 4 of the MCU, four shows were announced that would premiere on Disney+ that would tie into the cinematic side of the Marvel universe. Three of those shows have completed their runs with WandaVision, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, and Loki. The fourth is a show focusing on Jeremy Renner's character Cliff Barton/Hawkeye, seeing the former Avenger facing the crimes of his time as the assassin Ronin and being hunted by Yelena Belova (Played by Florence Pugh) who believes he is responsible for the death of her sister Natasha (the original Black Widow). Along the way, Barton begins to train Kate Bishop (Played by Hailee Steinfeld) to take over the mantle of Hawkeye so he can finally retire with his family. The show has been filming and had yet to get a premiere date until now.
It's been confirmed that Hawkeye will premiere on November 24th on Disney+ with new episodes every Wednesday. Jonathan Igla is attached to write and executive produce the series. Stay tuned!
