Following the film's official trailer last week (See it here), it's now been confirmed that director David Fincher's new Netflix film Mank will be released in US cinemas on November 13th. While the film is set to be released in several international territories as well (Australia, for example, will release the film tehatrically on November 19th), this is the primary focus for Netflix due to marketing the film for award consideration. It's also been confirmed that, three weeks after it's theatrical release, the film will receive a global debut on Netflix on December 4th.
Directing from a script written by his father Jack Fincher, David Fincher's first film since 2014's Gone Girl is based on the true story of screenwriter Herman J. Mankiewicz (Played by Gary Oldman) as he rushes to get his Citizen Kane screenplay to Orson Welles. The film also co-stars Amanda Seyfried, Lily Collins, and Charles Dance. Stay tuned!
