Tony Jaa is all over the place today. First he appeared in the official trailer for Monster Hunter (See it here) in which he will be co-leading the film with Milla Jovovich. And now the exclusive trailer for Jiu Jitsu sees him teaming up with Nicolas Cage. And given Cage's recent choice of projects...you guess which one will be far crazier.
Directed by Dimitri Logothetis, who co-wrote the script with Jim McGrath, the story deals with a ritual that occurs every six years where an ancient order of expert Jiu Jitsu fighters face a fearsome alien invader in a battle for Earth. After thousands of years of everything going smoothly, everything changes when celebrated war veteran and master Jiu Jitsu fighter Jake Barnes (Played by Alain Moussi), refuses to face the indomitable leader of the invaders, Brax. And with that, the future of humanity hangs in the balance, especially when he suffers amnesia after being kidnapped by a military unit. Rescued by Wylie (Played Nicolas Cage) and a team of fellow Jiu Jitsu fighters, Jake must recover his memory and regain his strength in order to band together and defeat Brax in an epic battle that will once again determine the fate of mankind.
Today, the official trailer has been released. Check it out below:
