One of the more questioned creative choices in the otherwise liked 2017 film Thor: Ragnarok was was the rather quick way Hela dispatched the Warriors Three, who in the previous installments were Thor's closest friends. The characters only got a couple minutes of screentime as a result. One thing that was on everyone's mind though was the whereabouts of Lady Sif, Thor's potential love interest and fellow warrior, during the events of Ragnarok, Avengers: Infinity War, and Avengers: Endgame. In actually, it most likely came down to the actress behind the character, Jaimie Alexander, starring for the last 5 years in the show Blindspot. But now, we'll get to find out where her character was in the MCU canon.
It's been confirmed today that Alexander will be returning to play Sif in Taika Waitit's upcoming sequel Thor: Love and Thunder, a role she hasn't played since the 2015 episode of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. titled "Who You Really Are" where she appeared in a crossover episode. She also appeared in the previous season of the show in the episode "Yes Men". There is also rumor that Alexander could also have a guest spot on the Disney+ series Loki, but for now she is confirmed to be in Love and Thunder which begins shooting next month in Sydney.
Thor: Love and Thunder is set to be released in theaters May 6, 2022.
Run - 8/10
Solid thriller from the director of 'Searching', good acting although the twist was predictable from the first few minutes.
'Where has she been?' Nobody gives a fuck!
