HBO Max lucked out this year by ordering so many original movies and having them ready this year when the streaming service went big. Another film to add to this list is their upcoming film Superintelligence. The synopsis is as follows:
Nothing extraordinary ever happens to Carol Peters (Played by Melissa McCarthy), so when she starts getting snarky backtalk from her TV, phone and microwave, she thinks she is being punked or losing her mind. In fact, the world's first superintelligence has selected her for observation, taking over her life... with a bigger, more ominous plan to take over everything. Now Carol is humanity's last chance to prove that people are worth saving.

Superintelligence is directed by Ben Falcone. It is set to be released on November 26th on HBO Max.
