Following Netflix's extravagant sizzle reel for their films in 2021, HBO Max has followed suit with their own reel showing off their large collage of films coming this year including franchise films like Godzilla vs. Kong, the Mortal Kombat reboot, Space Jam: A New Legacy, The Suicide Squad, Dune, and The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It. In addition, original films like The Many Saints of Newark, Judas and the Black Messiah, Cry Macho, Malignant, The Little Things, and the Coen-directed King Richard adaptation.
WB's big push is to release these films simultaneously in cinemas and on HBO Max for the first 30 days, then play in theaters solely until the traditional theatrical window runs out. The films will then be released in the standard home media formats along with VOD. Check out the reel below:
