Hathaway Cast in Liman's Heist Film

We may never get a sequel to Edge of Tomorrow (Or whatever it's called nowadays), but director Doug Liman at least will keep us entertained with a new heist movie with romantic comedy sensibilities titled Lockdown. And today it's been confirmed that Anne Hathaway is set to star in the feature whose plot is being kept under wraps although it will be set in the backdrop of the pandemic lockdown.

Expected to be made on a conservative budget of around $10 million, the script penned by Steven Knight, known for his scripts for Eastern Promises and Locke along with being the series creator for the hit show Peaky Blinders. The film is currently casting it's other key roles with shooting expected to begin by the end of September. P.J. Sandwyck set to produce the film for AGC Studios. Stay tuned!
