The 2006 film Grandma's Boy is a film that didn't do particularly well in theaters, but did find itself quite the cult hit once it landed on DVD. Co-written by Allen Covert and Nick Swardson, regular supporting players in Adam Sandler's films (whose company Happy Madison Productions distributed the film), the film's story focused on Alex (Played by Covert), a thirty-five-year-old video game tester, who is forced to move in with his grandmother and her two elderly roommates when he falls on hard times. Swardson co-starred as Alex's co-worker, Jeff.
And now, as a little treat for fans of the film, Covert has released an animated short film that see's him vocally reprising the role of Alex along with Peter Dante returning as Alex's marijuana dealer, Dante.
