Two games are giving different treats for anticipated gamers. On the one hand, the upcoming four-player co-op superhero game Gotham Knights has released a piece of official key art that many believe could be the potential cover for the game's disc case. Check it out below:
The game, taking place after Batman's death, sees the Dark Knight's former partners – Nightwing, Batgirl, Robin, and Red Hood – come together once more to restore justice to a Gotham City that is in decline, descending into chaos. The game is also expected to have players face off against the Court of Owls while investigating the death of their former mentor.
Gotham Knights is set to be released in 2022 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
Over at Electronic Arts, a new piece of gameplay footage for Battlefield 2042 has also debuted on the franchise's official Twitter page. The gameplay in particular focuses on some of the gadgets players will have access to. The game is noted for being the first in the franchise to not feature a single-player campaign. Instead, the story will be told through multiplayer gameplay. The game is set after decades of devastation has caused a climate change, leading to the collapse of the European Union and reaching a peak in 2040 when a Kessler syndrome event occurs. During this event, 70% of orbiting satellites to crash to Earth. The resulting global blackout causes tensions between the United States and Russia to skyrocket, with war breaking out by the year 2042. Check out the gameplay below:
