A couple new trailers have been released for some games being released in the next month. Check them out below...
Guardians of the Galaxy (Launch Trailer)
Ahead of it's release on October 26th, game studio Eidos-Montréal has released a launch trailer for the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy video game. Not only does it expand on previously teased or displayed elements (combat, characters, and the game's setting), but it also seems to tease that Adam Warlock will be making an appearance. This happens to come following the casting announcement yesterday that actor Will Poulter will portray the character in the upcoming MCU film Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. This is often a tactic for Marvel Entertainment in general, usually centering their comic book storylines and characters around those that are focused on in the movies. Seems to now extend to Marvel video games. Check out the official launch trailer for the game below:
Guardians of the Galaxy will be available for Microsoft Windows, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and GeForce Now.
Battlefield 2042 (Hazard Zone Trailer Premiere)
Back in Battlefield V, a battle royale-like mode called Firestorm was implemented in a response to popular battle royale games like Call of Duty: Warzone and Apex Legends. It...didn't go well. But now, the newest game in the series, Battlefield 2042, is rumored to be trying this mode again in a new form, namely the mysterious Hazard Zone mode which has been teased in a new trailer from today and a full reveal is coming this Thursday (October 14), at 8 AM PT/11 AM ET. Not much is known about Hazard Zone, but many have suspected it will have battle royale elements. The trailer released today by the game's studio, DICE, doesn't show much, but it's enough to wet the appetites of anyone excited for the game It seems to hint at squad-based play with no mention of larger teams. Check it out below and decide for yourself:
Battlefield 2042 will release on November 19th for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, and PC.
Stay tuned!
