Sylvester Stallone may be 74 years old, but according to director Julius Avery, he still could outshine some younger men in the action genre. In releasing the first official photo of the action star in the upcoming superhero film Samaritan (Courtesy of Total Film), Avery goes in to praise Stallone on every level:
“This is a big event movie – we see our heroes kicking ass. We’re going to see Sly do things he hasn’t done in a long time, and in a really inventive way. He’s 73 years old! I’m amazed by how much he actually does. I’m telling you, most guys in their twenties wouldn’t be able to do what Sly does in this movie.”
Samaritan follows a young boy (Played by Javon "Wanna" Walton) who discovers his neighbor (Played by Stallone) is actually a superhero who vanished two decades ago after an epic battle. Avery has described the film as a darker take on the genre, but moreso in grounded action than anything else. Having last directed the well-received WWII action film Overlord, Avery has proven he knows action and hopefully will give Stallone one of his better action roles in recent memory. Check out the first photo from the film below:
Samaritan is set to be released on June 4th.
Shit is about to hit the fan in USA
@Rambo: Thanks, man. Yeah, I need overall all this. I was Disque commenting but the updated Wix hasn’t made it available yet. Once it does, I can jettison the Wix app altogether since it’s redundant with Safari right there. That will fix the log-in issue but I’ll look into why it does that. It drives me nuts too.
The Desolation of Smaug extended version 4K - 4/10
I don't understand how this has the same rating in IMDB as 'an unexpected journey', was way too dark, lots of cartoonish cgi, shitty score and just drags too long.
Issues with the site and app
1. Website - sometimes logs out by itself. Didnt happen with the word press version.
2. Wix app - doesn't show sometimes 'new comments' even though there is an 'alert'.
2 small annoying things. Else you're doing a very good job,Sleuth 👍
@Rambo: Undervalued film although I still prefer “Desperado”.
