While the hit show Yellowstone is set to return to Paramount+ on November 7th for it's fourth season, the franchise will be expanding this holiday season with the prequel series 1883. The Western tale will premiere on December 9th and focus on the humble beginnings of the Dutton clan that fans became obsessed with in the parent series. The series will star real-life married couple Tim McGraw and Faith Hill as James and Margaret Dutton, whose journey will begin with a trek from Texas to Montana, led by Civil War veteran Shea Brennan (Played by Sam Elliott). Them, along with co-stars LaMonica Garrett and Isabel May, can be seen in the series first look photos that were released today, courtesy of Entertainment Weekly. Check them out below:
Garrett is co-starring as Audie Rick, the pioneers’ young son while plays the teenage Dutton daughter who also will narrate the series. Billy Bob Thornton will also guest star in the role of U.S. Marshal Jim Courtright. Stay tuned!
