First Look: "Outer Banks", Season 2

The first season of Netflix's Outer Banks had a simple but thrilling plot. A young man named John B (Played by Chase Stokes) attempted to find $400 million in hidden gold in his small coastal town in North Carolina and solve how it connected to his father's disappearance. Ultimately, he gathered a group of friends into the quest and they became known as Pogues.

However, now in the upcoming second season, after a betrayal in the season 1 finale, the group will find themselves split up and on the run with Netflix releasing a series of images for the new season that include shots of John along with the rest of the Pogues, namely Kiara (Played by Madison Bailey), Pope (Played by Jonathan Daviss), JJ (Played by Rudy Pankow), and Sarah Cameron (Played by Madelyn Cline) who is John's love interest. While not overly specific, has been confirmed that John and Sarah will head to the Bahamas to track the gold that escaped their grasp in the season 1 finale. Check out all of the photos below:

With the photos, the series creators Josh Pate, Jonas Pate, and Shannon Burke had this to say about what to expect:

"Season 2 is going to test our crew like never before. We’ve turned up the dial on everything fans loved about Season 1 — more mystery, more romance and higher stakes. It’s a full throttle, action-packed adventure and these photos offer a glimpse into the next chapter for our Pogues. All we can say for now is buckle up, it’s going to be a wild ride."

Season 2 of Outer Banks is set to premiere on Netflix this summer. Stay tuned!
