Director Chris McKay has teased that his upcoming Amazon film The Tomorrow War (set to land on the streaming service on July 2nd) is meant to recall 1990's blockbusters in the vein of Independence Day. It's a wonder if that will be what audiences see when the film comes out but we're mere weeks away from finding out in either case. However, as a last push for promotion, a final trailer has been released that indeed makes you think the film was made for a decade long-past of entertainment. We'll see on July 2nd if that is a good thing or not. Check it out below:
The Tomorrow War stars Chris Pratt, Yvonne Strahovski, J. K. Simmons, Betty Gilpin, Sam Richardson, Edwin Hodge, Jasmine Mathews, Ryan Kiera Armstrong, and Keith Powers.
But... but you said you'd update...
Why don't you like us?
What did we do to you?
Still nothing? Gotta be a new record...
Like Richard Nixon famously said, my good old Nick: "Time has come for a fucking update"
I watched the new Loki. Holy shit. It's so bad. I can't believe they spent money writing and making this shit. It's like the person who wrote it never watched any of the movies and didn't know the story so far. They didn't understand anything about the character of Loki. Jesus. It's like they didn't even try. Why should I?
Get woke. Go broke.
