"Fatman" Debuts Official Trailer

Now this is one Santa you don't want to annoy...especially if he's played by a registered Lethal Weapon, Mel Gibson. Titled Fatman, the new dark action comedy seems like at first like a B-movie bit of craziness, but then you find out it's executive produced by David Gordon Green and Danny McBride who last impressed audiences with their Halloween film back in 2018. So, perhaps, the it could be a potential fun film from Saban Films. The synopsis seems to indicate a wild ride:

To save his declining business, Chris Cringle (Played by Gibson), also known as Santa Claus, is forced into a partnership with the U.S. military. Making matters worse, Chris gets locked into a deadly battle of wits against a highly skilled assassin (Played by Walton Goggins), hired by a precocious 12-year-old after receiving a lump of coal in his stocking. ‘Tis the season for Fatman to get even, in the action-comedy that keeps on giving.

Today, the official trailer has been released. Check it out below:

Fatman is written and directed by Eshom Nelms and Ian Nelms. It is set to land in theaters November 13th, followed by a release on VOD and digital platforms on November 17th.
