Following it's panel yesterday at DC FanDome, where Wonder Woman 1984 released it's new trailer that finally revealed the look of the villain Cheetah (See it here), today a piece of score has been released by WaterTower Music. It seems appropriate the composer for the sequel is Hans Zimmer. Zimmer created the original Wonder Woman theme alongside Junkie XL in 2016's Batman v Superman where the character made her live-action debut. Zimmer will be taking over from Rupert Gregson-Williams who composed the score for the first solo film of the Amazonian heroine back in 2017.
The piece of score released today is titled "Themyscira", representing how much vibrancy in the score that Zimmer hopes to give. Hopefully, the film as a whole will follow suit. Check it out below:
Wonder Woman 1984 stars Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Kristen Wiig, Pedro Pascal, Robin Wright, and Connie Nielsen. It is directed by Patty Jenkins and is set to hit theaters October 2nd.
@pornfly: Henricksen always seemed like he was on the brink of greatness. He inspired Cameron's original vision of the T-800 and "Dog Day Afternoon" was another example.
